Dreamcards, The Science Times 2000 Series, a set of 52 cards, one for each issue of the New York Times, Science Times section for the year 2000. The title and drawing for each card was derived by choosing one article from the issue of that particular week that fascinated me the most. They are styled after dreambooks which connect dream imagery with numerology by including on each card a found piece of paper containing a printed number (ticket stub, receipt, etc.) By making this work I wanted to imbue the newly learned science facts with almost mystical properties.
